My name is Josh Gorton and I’m 19 years old. My blog will focus on the Professional Darts Corporation, because I have a major passion for the sport and I am hoping to pursue a career in Sports Journalism. Darts has grown immeasurably over the past decade and is now the second most watched sport on satellite television within the UK, thanks largely to the dedicated coverage provided by Sky Sports and ITV4.
My blog will analyse the development of the hottest young properties within the PDC circuit, whilst focusing on players who are on the rise, or on the decline. I will also explore the difference between television form and floor form, and discuss how difficult the transition can be for some. I will also keep you up to date with the latest results from all PDC tournaments, whilst providing opinions and provoking darting debates.
With the increasing prize money, more tournaments being introduced and the standard constantly improving, 2015 has all the makings of being the most exciting and captivating in PDC history.
