Seven-time PDC ranking winner Jamie Caven is our guest on this episode as he reflects on a fine showing at the BDO Scottish Open, whilst the team discuss the rip-roaring start to the Premier League and Pro Tour season.

BetVictor Masters Round-Up (13:45-17:45) – The team reflect on the season-opening BetVictor Masters, which saw Michael van Gerwen defeat James Wade 11-5 to clinch his fifth consecutive Masters crown.

Premier League Darts Discussion (18:30-49:20) – The Premier League got off to a dramatic start, as two-time world champion Gary Anderson pulled out with a back injury just days before the event began. We discuss the PDC’s decision to replace Anderson with nine contenders, whilst also dissecting the opening three nights of action in Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin.

Pro Tour Round-Up (55:40-1:02:05) – It’s been an electrifying start to the Pro Tour season, with four different winners across the six events. Gerwyn Price tops the Players Championship Order of Merit after claiming back-to-back titles in Barnsley over the weekend, whilst we’ve seen an unprecedented amount of nine-darters on the PDC circuit in February.

Jamie Caven Interview (1:02:10-1:13:30) –  Josh caught up with seven-time PDC ranking winner Jamie Caven, who reached the semi-finals of the recent BDO Scottish Open. ‘Jabba’ discusses rediscovering the winning feeling, losing his PDC Tour Card, his plans for 2019 as well as his brilliant work with the Junior Darts Corporation.

What are the Odds (1:14:50-1:22:40) – Our resident stats man Neil brings us all the latest darting odds- previewing Night Four of the Premier League in Exeter, with Luke Humphries the latest contender to enter the fray. We also look ahead to the UK Open in Minehead this Friday, as we cast our eye on some potential underdogs in this year’s ‘FA Cup of Darts’.

In The News (1:46:00-1:52:30) – Josh discusses the news from the Dutch Open and Scottish Open, whilst also paying tribute to former Lakeside quarter-finalist Peter Johnstone, who passed away at the age of 57 last week. The team also reflect on a change of venue for the Champions League of Darts and round-up the action from Friday’s European Tour qualifiers.

Q&A section (1:52:45-2:02:40) – As usual, the team answer any questions sent in by the JDP listeners to conclude the latest episode. The panel give their opinions on the Premier League contenders, the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers and some potential dark horses for the 2019 UK Open.
