We discuss the fall-out from a dramatic few weeks of Premier League action, which saw Raymond van Barneveld eliminated following Judgement Night, while Josh spoke to FIVE Premier League stars live backstage at the Rotterdam double-header.
Premier League Darts Discussion (10:10-52:05) – The team look back at all the Premier League action over the last couple of weeks, as a night in Berlin was followed by a thrilling double-header on Dutch soil. With Van Barneveld eliminated in his farewell campaign, the focus now turns to the race for a top four spot, with just six points separating the eight players.
Premier League Interviews (53:20-1:14:00) Josh caught up with a host of Premier League stars in Rotterdam. We heard from Smith, Gurney and Price following their respective wins, whilst Josh also spoke with debutant Van den Bergh and a downbeat Barney, who retracted his pledge to retire from darts with immediate effect following Thursday’s defeat.
Pro Tour Round-Up (1:15:00-1:20:10) The boys reflect on all the latest from the PDC Pro Tour. Dave Chisnall and Adrian Lewis triumphed in the recent Players Championship double-header, coming out on top against Gurney and Van Barneveld respectively. We also look back at last week’s European Darts Open, as MvG scooped a record 29th European Tour title.
What are the Odds? (1:21:00-1:26:45) – Our resident stats man Neil provides us with the latest darting odds, brought to you by Sky Bet. We evaluate the odds for the next round of Premier League fixtures in Belfast, before assessing how the overall tournament odds shape up following the Premier League’s European adventure.
Challenge Josh (1:27:00-1:48:30)– Following Josh’s trip to Rotterdam last week, Neil tests our expert’s knowledge of all things Dutch darts in another entertaining episode of Challenge Josh!
In The News (1:48:35-1:57:35) – Josh discusses the release of the Premier League fixtures for Nights 10-16, with the announcement being somewhat overshadowed by Thursday’s drama. The team also reflect on deserved recognition for the PDC before speculating on an imminent BDO announcement.
