Josh’s Dartistry Darts Podcast – The Bounce Out Episode 10!

The tenth episode of ‘The Bounce Out’ features an exclusive interview with Premier League debutant and current Masters champion Jonny Clayton, as regular co-hosts Josh Gorton and Jon Dean round up the latest darting action.

With resident stats man Neil Conner gearing up for his return, Josh and Jon reflect on the latest Premier League action, which saw Glen Durrant and Rob Cross eliminated from the competition on Judgement Night, before Josh assesses the latest odds ahead of the tournament’s resumption.

We also dissect the main talking points from PDC Super Series 3 in Niedernhausen, while Josh brings us an exclusive interview with World Cup winner Jonny Clayton, who discusses his blistering start to 2021, including his maiden individual televised title and a Premier League debut in the process.

Premier League Darts: Nights 6-9 Review (8:55) – It is all eyes on the race for the play-offs in the Premier League, with just five points separating the remaining eight players. Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri Van den Bergh currently lead the way, but who are the bookmakers backing as the tournament approaches the latter stages?

Jonny Clayton Exclusive (32:15) – The Welshman is in buoyant mood as he assesses his stunning start to 2021. Clayton discusses the catalyst behind his terrific form during the last six months, before revealing his pride at becoming part of the darting elite. He also explains his reluctance to give up his job as a plasterer; outlining his major aspirations.

PDC Super Series 3 Round-Up (47:15) – There were a host of established names absent from the recent PDC Super Series, but there was no shortage of quality performances in Niedernhausen. Josh runs through the major stories from the four days of Pro Tour action, which featured four different winners, plus four nine-dart finishes.

Challenge Josh (58:45) – Josh is thrown a curveball this week, as his knowledge is put to the test with the impromptu return of ‘Challenge Josh’. Jon takes the reigns in Neil’s absence, and following Josh’s earlier interview with Jonny Clayton, the latest edition is a topical one, based on the in-form ‘Ferret’.

Q&A section (1:20:15) – The team answer questions sent in by the listeners to conclude the latest episode. There’s questions on the European Tour, Michael van Gerwen’s struggles, a potential change in format with regards to Premier League elimination, plus Josh and Jon also reflect on potential candidates to win the sport’s triple crown.
