About

My name is Josh Gorton and I’m 23 years old. I set up this website in February 2015 as part of a multimedia project for my Journalism degree and it’s since gone from strength-to-strength. I’ve had over 2,500,000 views and as well as maintaining my website, I also work as a freelance journalist for Sky Sports’ darts team.

My website focuses primarily on the latest news from the Professional Darts Corporation as well certain aspects of the British Darts Organisation. The sport of darts is in a magnificent place at present, with the ever-increasing standard making it an unmissable spectacle.

I’ve been fortunate enough to attend several PDC events and interview some of the world’s best players, including Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Raymond van Barneveld and of course Phil Taylor.

I also host the Josh’s Dartistry Podcast, which was established in April 2018, so please go and give that a listen. I hope you enjoy my website and I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Interesting observation about the floor form and tv/camera form. I am wondering if the final will be chizzy and the flying scottsman. What do you think?

  2. Nothing against the world number one…but i don’t think this will be his year to win. I think he will make the semi finals. Taylor is still in it because Ono only produced sporadic rounds of brilliance.

  3. Don’t know if I’m the only one, but I find the PDC commentators, in general, extremely irritating. Particularly Stuart Pyke, Dan Rawson and the northern chap. I have to watch the matches with the Mute button on. Wayne’s match analyses are good but his commentary, too, is awful, in my opinion. John Part is good.

  4. Good Day Josh, I’m wondering if you’ve seen any updates on Richie Burnett lately. I know he was suspended for cocaine some time ago… Always liked his energy and attitude…
