Robbie Green.jpg

In our sixth episode of the Josh’s Dartistry Podcast, Josh Gorton is joined by co-hosts Jon Dean and Neil Conner to discuss all the latest news from the world of darts.

After a brief hiatus, the team return to discuss the recent World Grand Prix, where Michael van Gerwen defeated Peter Wright in Dublin to secure his fourth World Grand Prix crown!

Josh is joined for an exclusive interview with PDC star Robbie Green, who is set to make his return from knee surgery in next week’s Players Championship double-header in Barnsley.

Robbie discusses his recovery and outlines his aims for the rest of the season, whilst he also reveals the big differences between playing in the BDO compared to the PDC.

The boys also reflect on the recent Winmau World Masters, where Adam Smith-Neale stunned Glen Durrant to seal his first major title in Bridlington.

We also look ahead to the other events on the horizon, with the European Championship, World Series of Darts Finals and Grand Slam of Darts all taking place within the next month.

We also have the latest instalment of our newest feature called ‘Lord of The Board’, before Jon and Neil test Josh’s knowledge to the extreme in the return of Challenge Josh.

We then look at some of the more interesting darting stories to have appeared in the mainstream media over the last week, before answering a number of questions sent in by listeners, in a Q/A section which concludes the sixth episode.

Josh’s Dartistry Darts Podcast Episode Four

In our fourth episode of the Josh’s Dartistry Podcast, Josh Gorton is joined by co-hosts Jon Dean and Neil Conner to discuss all the latest news from the world of darts. The team discuss a busy few weeks of action, including Premier League Finals Night, the German Darts Masters and the recent World Cup of Darts.

The boys also reflect on the recent BDO World Trophy, where Glen Durrant and Fallon Sherrock produced some superb darts to win the respective titles. However, much of the focus fell on the production of the event and the disappointing attendances at the Preston Guildhall.

We also introduce a new feature called ‘Lord of The Board’, which is essentially a round-the-clock challenge. You have 30 darts to hit all 20 big numbers, as well as the outer bull and bullseye.

As a result, the minimum amount of darts that can be used to complete the challenge is 22. Listeners are encouraged to attempt ‘Lord of The Board’ and send in their attempts, but Jon is the first person to take on the challenge.

The boys round-up the latest action on the European Tour and Players Championship circuits, including Josh Payne winning his second PDC title with victory over Peter Wright in Milton Keynes.

Jon and Neil test Josh’s knowledge of all things Raymond van Barneveld in the return of ‘Challenge Josh’, whilst we look at some of the more obscure darting stories to have appeared in the mainstream media over the last month. We also answer a number of questions sent in by listeners, in a Q/A section which concludes the fourth episode.
